Our Rare Stash Bourbon #2 offering comes was artfully created from only a 33 barrel lot.
30 of the barrel are 7.5 year bourbon aged in Char#3 barrels and 3 barrels from 8.5 year bourbon aged in Char#4 barrels.
Both are 75/214 mash bills but from different bourbon / whiskey regions and climates and different barrel chars.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: The nose is rich and slightly sweet with hints of vanilla, oak and caramel.
- Palate: The first sip fills your palate with flavor followed by a soothing penetrating warmth that lingers with the balanced flavors of vanilla, butterscotch, oak and a hint of chocolate.
