Kraken Black Spiced Rum 750ml

The Kraken is a giant squid and the most fearsome of all the monsters of the sea. This marine legend is a beast that lives up to 3,000 feet below the surface of the ocean and is known for its attacks on ships. Legend has it that a ship carrying a cargo of black spiced rum from the Caribbean to Norway never reached its destination because it suffered one of the Kraken’s dreaded attacks. All the sailors were literally annihilated, as were all the barrels of rum the ship contained, except one, which was offered to the Queen of Norway as an apology for the lost cargo. Thus, this spiced rum that still gave off black ink from the attack was renamed Kraken, in homage to the undeniable power of this beast and its strength. As sailors often say: “Not respecting the Kraken is not respecting the sea”.
