Fevre’s 2011 Chabli Lys is gorgeous. Shades of yellow-fleshed fruit with tropical overtones emerge from this decidedly big, broad-shouldered Chablis. Early signs of development, especially on the bouquet, suggest the Lys is a wine to drink sooner rather than later. Almond and honeyed notes inform the inviting finish. This is a beautiful, rewarding Chablis to enjoy over the next few years.
