The Redbreast Kentucky Oak Edition is triple distilledin copper pot stills and matured in American bourbon barrels and Spanish Oloroso Sherry butts. Then its finished for a minimum of 4 months in hand selected, air-dried American Oak from the Taylor family farm in Kentucky. The sweet notes of vanilla and wood spice give you an unmistakeable taste of Southern hospitality.
Tasting Notes:
- Nose: Opens with notes of freshly cut cedarwood, almond and vanilla. Sweet fruit and warming charred wood influences complement the pot still spices.
- Palate: Cinnamon, nutmeg and clove build over time working in tandem with the oakās rich tannins. Autumnal fruit notes delicately linger with sweet and decadent notes of brown sugar toffee and vanilla.
- Finish: Fruits are the first to slowly fade, leaving the pot still spices to linger in harmony with the sweet and intricate American oak.
