At the 18th century, the wines of the Charente Region of France were distilled to send them easier to Great Britain and to the Netherlands : that was Cognac Birth. At this splendor period, the Chateau des Plassons has developped its vineyard. Planted on a hillside and protected from the wind, the vineyard is situated on an exceptional geological plateau of easily assimilated limestone which thus creates a light and fruity brandy.
