The Vieux Château Certan is one of the oldest and most prestigious estates in the Pomerol terroir, acquired over a century ago by the grandfather of Alexandre Thienpont, the current owner of the estate.
The vineyard
With an area of 14 hectares in one piece, the Vieux Certan vineyard benefits from fertile soils and rigorous attention, producing Pomerol wines known for their aromatic finesse and elegance.
