Vintage 2009 is a unique blend of 11 year old rums from our pot stills (John Dore 2 & Vendome) and our Coffey still. The rums are aged independently for 11 years in ex-bourbon barrels before being expertly blended by our head blender, Deny Duplessis. They are then reintroduced to the oak for a few more months in order to perfectly incorporate.
Tasting Notes:
- Color: Vibrant golden brown color.
- Nose: Intense honeyed raisin nose with toffee, banana, vanilla, and tobacco tones.
- Palate: Concentrated and powerful palate with sweet candied tropical fruits, tobacco, and spices. Buttery toasted oak gives structure and depth as well as a smooth complex finish of leather and dark chocolate.
