The 2016 Bourgogne Pinot Noir has a deep purple color. The bouquet is open and generous, quite stocky for a Bourgogne Rouge with blackcurrant and bilberry scents. The palate is chewy on the entry with good acidity, quite firm tannins and a solid finish that you would think might be a village cru. I would leave this for another 18 months.
